Temple Tree Resort & Spa
A stone-and-timber resort at Gaurighat in Lakeside, about 150 m from Phewa Lake, with an outdoor pool, spa and gardens. Comfortable rooms and an easy walk to the lake make it our comfort-tier choice in Pokhara, especially for families and couples.
Temple Tree sits in the Gaurighat area of Lakeside, a short walk from Phewa Lake and the main Lakeside road but set back from its noise. The buildings use stone, slate and timber in a style drawn from western Nepal's hill architecture, around gardens and an outdoor infinity pool with a spa pool area.
Rooms are comfortable, with balconies, and several restaurants and a bar are on site, serving Nepali and international food. The spa offers massages and flower baths, useful after a trek. On clear days the Annapurna range shows from parts of the grounds. Book a room facing the gardens or mountains, and ask for a quieter wing in peak season.
